Garden of Hope Community Development Corporation was founded in 2008 by Dr. Kirk T. Houston, Sr., as an extension of his ministry at Gethsemane Community Fellowship Baptist Church.
Created to reach beyond the traditional role of the church, Garden of Hope provides programs, services, and resources for individuals and families facing social and economic challenges.
Our mission is to build healthy neighborhoods by serving underserved youth, individuals, families, and communities throughout Hampton Roads. Working in partnership with others, we seek to improve quality of life and promote community betterment.
